“Regenerative agriculture is the future, and Klim is making it happen today.”

We love working with Klim because they empower farmers to take their first steps into regenerative agriculture with an innovative platform and expert guidance. Their projects not only improve soil health and biodiversity but also contribute to a more sustainable and resilient food system.

Why The Project Matters

Conventional farming drives high emissions

The Problem

Due to climate change, global soil health has declined by up to 50%, threatening food security, biodiversity, and the second largest carbon sink.

Without action, poor soil health leads to lower yields, biodiversity loss, and increased risks of erosion, pests, and drought.

How Klim Helps

Klim provides farmers with technical agricultural guidance and financial support to implement regenerative practices like crop rotation, cover cropping, and reduced tillage.

Klim Project

What makes this project special?

Regenerative practices improve soil health, increase yields, enhance biodiversity, and transform farmlands into carbon sinks while securing climate-resilient supply chains.

Meet our project Partner

The project proponent Klim is a AgriTech, purpose-driven organization that drives the regenerative transformation in Germany and beyond.

One third of the team comes from an agricultural background, bringing agricultural perspectives and farmers' needs and interests to the core of the organization. Klim is passionate about bringing a large-scale sustainable shift in agricultural management and practices and is science-driven and conservative in its approach. They are a very trustworthy, value-aligned and transparent partner.

Contribution to SDGs

We grow long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Good Health and Well-Being

Regenerative farming methods improve soil quality, leading to healthier crops with higher nutrient density.

By reducing chemical inputs, these practices also promote cleaner air, water, and food, benefiting both farmers and consumers.

Decent work and Economic Growth

By working with more than 4000 farmers in Germany, a systemic change is initiated to shift to a sustainable food system.

Klim's accessible technology and flexible conditions for farmers has lead to a solution with high scalability potential.

Responsible Consumption and Production

Through regenerative agriculture, Klim promotes a food system that prioritizes sustainability.

Consumers play an active role by choosing climate-friendly products, directly supporting farmers who implement regenerative practices.

Climate Action

By turning agricultural land into a carbon sink, Klim actively contributes to climate change mitigation.

Healthy soils store carbon, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance ecosystem stability.

Life on Land

Regenerative farming helps restore degraded land, improve biodiversity, and protect vital ecosystems.

By working with nature rather than against it, Klim supports wildlife habitats and promotes a more sustainable agricultural landscape.

Globally, over one third of the fertile soil is degraded. I am proud to be part of an initiative that contributes to the regeneration of German soils!
